World Favela Forum: Global Voices from the Peripheries Unite in Rio de Janeiro This November

In partnership with major institutions such as the State Government and City Hall of Rio de Janeiro, TV Globo, UNESCO in Brazil, and G20 Social, CUFA will launch the World Favela Forum as part of G20 activities this November.

This event, held in Rio’s capital, will bring the voices of global peripheries to the forefront of critical discussions on hunger, poverty, inequality, and human rights. The initiative seeks to foster sustainable development in favelas and peripheral areas, prioritizing solutions and insights from the communities themselves.
